How to do squats?
- Feet slightly wider than shoulder-width
- Toes rotated out slightly
- Think about sitting on your hips. In this way, hips will go back first before the knees could bend. And knees will bend less this way.
- Push hips back first (back will also go back slightly) then go down (and bend the knees).
- Lower back should not be stretched much, as people usually do while doing squats with bar. Keep your back straight or natural. You shouldn't feel your tail being pushed up.
- Pushing through the heal, you should feel your weight on your heel.
- Head and chest should be up.
- Lowering down, 90 degrees parallel to the ground.
